Two rescued from car after Exmouth house crash

Two men have been cut free from a car that crashed into a house and overturned in east Devon.

The car collided with the building in Exeter Road, Exmouth, just before 0200 BST, trapping the pair inside.

One fire appliance and a special rescue vehicle from Exmouth, plus police and an ambulance were called to the scene.

The men were released with two sets of hydraulic cutting equipment, as well as stabilising equipment and a hose reel, the fire service said.
