Two men bailed in Meriden pedestrian death inquiry


Two men arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a pedestrian was killed in Meriden have been released on bail.

Patrick Rowe, aged 64, of London, had spent the previous night in Coventry and was struck as he crossed the A45 near to Packington Hall on Thursday.

Police arrested a 30-year-old Coventry man and a 50-year-old man from Leamington.

Anyone with information should contact Warwickshire Police.
