A "number of offers" have been received for a Hawick knitwear firm which went into administration last month with the loss of more than 100 jobs.
A deadline for bidders to take over Peter Scott & Co passed at the beginning of the week.
Blair Nimmo, of joint administrators KPMG, confirmed a number of "interested parties" had been in touch.
He said they would now have to examine the offers to assess which one was suitable for the business.
"As joint administrators of Peter Scott & Co, we are pleased to announce we have received a number of offers from interested parties," he said.
"We will now assess each bid and speak to individual parties to ensure the best possible outcome for all stakeholders.
"In the next few days we would hope to be in a position to announce the preferred bidder."
