Arrest after Sheerness cannabis factory found


A man has been arrested after a cannabis factory was found at a house in Sheerness.

Kent Police said officers found more than 30 cannabis plants at the property in James Street on Tuesday.

Sgt Neil Kimber said the plants had an estimated potential street value of £4,000.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and bailed until 12 August pending further inquiries.
