Antique vases stolen from garage

A pair of antique vases worth about £3,000 have been stolen from a garage in Angus, police have said.

The Chinese Satsuma vases were taken from the garage of a house in Keithhall Gardens, Birkhill.

Tayside Police said thieves broke in between 2020 BST on Monday and 0610 BST on Tuesday.

The vases are 3ft (1m) high and heavily decorated with gold and floral patterns. Each has a lid featuring a Chinese dragon.

They are mounted on rosewood stands.

Police have asked anyone with information about the vases to contact them.
