Five arrests over Worcestershire tractor thefts

Five men have been arrested over the theft of four tractors worth £400,000 from a farm machinery firm in Worcestershire.

The vehicles were taken from Chris Tallis Farm Machinery at Hinton-on-the-Green near Evesham on Wednesday night.

Three men were taken into custody at Fenland Airport, Lincolnshire, and two at Dover's Eastern Docks.

All five were bailed to return to Worcester police station while inquiries continue.

Two of the four green and yellow John Deere 8000 series tractors were recovered during the Lincolnshire arrests and the other two at the Kent port, West Mercia Police said.
