Two arrested after drugs seizure


Police have seized class A drugs with a street value of more than £50,000 during an operation in central Scotland.

Officers stopped a vehicle near Larbert railway station on Friday and then searched a property in Cowane Street, Stirling.

Heroin and cocaine were seized, along with cannabis and amphetamine. About £15,000 in cash was also recovered.

Police said they arrested two men, aged 42 and 39, in connection with the find.

The pair are due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court later.
