Black Isle crash driver airlifted to hospital


A badly injured driver has been airlifted to hospital in Inverness following a two-vehicle crash on a road in the Black Isle.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A832, a mile west of Avoch, at about 0900 BST.

Police said the man was flown to Raigmore Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

The section of road was closed to allow officers to investigate the cause of the accident.
