Man accused of Worcester arson attacks


A man has been charged with arson after a number of bin fires were started in Worcester.

A house and a gas main were damaged and three properties had to be evacuated during the incidents in Warndon and Warndon Village on Saturday night.

Police arrested a man in his 20s in Tolladine Road early on Sunday.

He has been charged with two counts of arson with intent to endanger life and two counts of arson. He is due to appear before magistrates in Worcester.
