Kyrgyzstan ethnic tensions erupt into violence


A state of emergency has been declared in Kyrgyzstan, as long simmering ethnic tensions have erupted into violence.

Street battles between ethnic Kyrgyz and Uzbeks have left more than 40 people dead and more than 500 wounded in the second largest city, Osh.
