Men held over doorstep shooting in Cambridgeshire

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder over a shooting on a doorstep in Cambridgeshire.

A 41-year-old man was shot after answering a door to two men in Anderson Crescent, Godmanchester, on 2 June.

A 47-year-old man was arrested in Peterborough earlier. Two others, aged 28 and 56, were arrested at an address in Northampton, police said.

The three men were taken into custody at a police station in Peterborough.

The victim was taken to hospital with a single bullet wound and his condition has been described as serious but not life threatening.
