The family of a 28-year-old man stabbed to death in west London said they are devastated by his murder.
Jaabe Roberts of Edith Road, Hammersmith, was attacked in Askew Road, Shepherd's Bush, at about 0100 BST on Wednesday.
In a statement, his family said they loved him so much and "cannot understand why this has happened".
Two people have been given police bail over the murder, while two others have been released without charge.
The two who were bailed were a 31-year-old man, who must speak to police again in September, and a woman aged 42, who was released until August.
Two men aged 37 and 57, who were arrested on Wednesday, will face no further action.
Mr Roberts suffered a stab wound to the heart and died in hospital shortly after the attack.
His mother, Marcia, said: "I, along with his sisters and nine-year-old brother, cannot understand why this has happened to our beloved son and brother.
"His brother keeps asking what's wrong with Jaabe and why he can't come home.
"We are appealing to anyone with any information to please pass this on to the police."
