Police have arrested a further 29 people suspected of being involved in trouble after a football match last month.
Violence broke out at Port Vale FC's match against Shrewsbury in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, on 8 May.
Police said 17 men were arrested and charged in connection with the disorder on Thursday.
A further 12 men were arrested on Friday and later charged. They have since been released on bail.
They are due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court on 28 June.
A man contacted police on Friday after recognising himself in an image released by police on Thursday.
Eight people were arrested on the day of the game after Port Vale supporters attacked police officers. Shrewsbury fans were not involved.
