Violence broke out at Port Vale FC's match against Shrewsbury in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, on 8 May.

Police said 17 men were arrested and charged in connection with the disorder on Thursday.

A further 12 men were arrested on Friday and later charged. They have since been released on bail.

They are due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court on 28 June.

A man contacted police on Friday after recognising himself in an image released by police on Thursday.
