Youths arrested over Eaglescliffe school arson

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of carrying out an arson attack at a Teesside school.

The fire badly damaged two storage sheds at Preston Primary School in Eaglescliffe on Monday night.

Officers had been looking for two youths seen in the area carrying a plastic container of liquid, believed to be an accelerant.

Two boys, aged 14 and 16, are being questioned in connection with the fire, said Cleveland Police.
