Detectives investigating the shooting of a security guard during an attempted robbery in Lancashire have released an image of a man they want to speak to.
The victim was shot at twice as his attackers fled through Tesco car park in Longsands Lane, Fulwood, at 1230 BST on 26 March.
Police believe there were at least two robbers involved.
Officers have released CCTV images of a man in the Anderton Arms pub exactly a week before the shooting.
The man is seen arriving on a motorcycle wearing leathers and a dark helmet.
He buys a bar from the drink and then sits in the beer garden, where he is seen on CCTV talking on the phone as a cash delivery takes place.
Det Ch Insp Andy Hulme said: "These images are very clear so I am confident that someone somewhere will recognise this man.
"I would like to stress that this man could be an innocent member of the public simply enjoying a drink.
"However, it is vital that people come forward if they are able to name this man so we are able to progress with our investigation and locate and arrest the men responsible for this appalling crime."
Police have recovered three vehicles which they believe the robbers used before, during and after the robberies - a white Peugeot van, a black Nissan Qashqai and a metallic blue Renault Scenic.
Mr Hulme appealed to anyone with any information about the shooting to contact police.
