Four charged with murder of man on Chester city walls


Detectives investigating the killing of a man found collapsed in Chester city centre have charged four people with murder.

Christopher Garwell, 23, of Connahs Quay, Flintshire, was found with head injuries on the city walls on 3 June.

He was treated in the Walton Centre, a special neurological centre in Liverpool, but died on 9 June.

Two 16-year-old boys, a 17-year-old and a man, aged 20, will appear before Chester magistrates later.
