Man arrested over a Cambridgeshire fatal crash


A man has been arrested over the death of a girl in a crash in Cambridgeshire.

A red Honda Accord crashed on the A15 at Maxey between Peterborough and Stamford at about 1140 BST.

Police said only one vehicle was involved in the crash, in which three other passengers suffered minor injuies.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is being held at Thorpe Wood police station.

The road was closed for several hours before reopening at 1550 BST.
