Motorcyclist dies in lorry crash on Rearsby bypass


A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a lorry in Leicestershire.

The man, who police said was not wearing a helmet, was killed when he came off his bike on the A607 Rearsby bypass on Wednesday afternoon.

He was travelling towards Melton Mowbray and the lorry was travelling towards Queniborough and Syston.

Officers have not yet released any other details about the man who died but have appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
