Middlesbrough displays Kapoor artwork Temenos


It is more than 100 metres long and the hope is that it will change the image of one of Britain's bleakest industrial landscapes.

'Temenos', created by the artist Anish Kapoor, is a series of giant hoops and wires which float above the dockland area of Middlesbrough.

Locals are divided over whether this expensive commission is appropriate in the current economic climate.
