Man who threatened Norfolk taxi driver jailed

A 22-year-old man from Norfolk who threatened a taxi driver with a knife has been jailed for nine months.

Thomas Jackson, of The Saltings, Terrington St Clement, admitted affray.

Norwich Crown Court heard that taxi driver Kevin Allen picked up Jackson to take him to Terrington, but Jackson became abusive on 21 February.

After being thrown out of the taxi, Jackson threw a brick at the taxi and threatened the driver with a knife.

Jackson was ordered to pay Mr Allen £2,500 in compensation.
