Case against ex-MI6 worker Daniel Houghton adjourned


The case against a former MI6 worker accused of stealing and disclosing secret material has been adjourned.

Daniel Houghton, 25, worked for the Secret Intelligence Service between September 2007 and May 2009.

He is accused of stealing material and breaching the Official Secrets Act by disclosing files.

Mr Houghton, of north London, was excused from the hearing at Woolwich Crown Court and will appear at the Royal Courts of Justice on 14 July.
