Ex-Cambridge cinema bar revamp to create up to 50 jobs

Up to 50 jobs are to be created in a £1.1m revamp of a former 1920s cinema.

Pub group JD Wetherspoon has taken over the Graduate Barfly pub, closed since summer 2008, in Cambridge and renamed it The Tivoli.

The name The Tivoli has been taken from the cinema which used to occupy the building in the 1920s.

The Chesterton Road venue is due to reopen on 16 July and see the creation of between 40 and 50 jobs.
