Murder probe into Essex stabbing death


The death of a man found at a flat in Essex is being treated as murder.

The body of 59-year-old Daniel Thomas was found in the property on Darnley Road, Grays, on the afternoon of 16 May.

A post-mortem examination showed the provisional cause of death to be multiple stab wounds.

An18-year-old woman of no fixed address was earlier arrested in Maidstone in Kent on suspicion of murder and bailed pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information in connection about the incident or who knew Mr Thomas is asked to contact police.
