A couple who met while watching the 2002 football World Cup are getting married on the same day that England's 2010 cup campaign gets under way.
Tracey Law, 39, met husband-to-be Frank Smith, 52, in a pub in Dudley, West Midlands, in 2002, as they watched England draw with Nigeria.
They are getting married on Saturday, holding the reception in a pub where they can watch England take on USA.
Ms Law said she was equally nervous about the wedding and the match.
She said she met her future partner while dressed head-to-toe in England supporter's dress.
"I plucked up courage to ask if we could sit with him and the rest is history," she said.
Both Ms Law and Mr Smith are big football fans and it was Mr Smith's idea to get married on the day of the first England match.
Wedding decorations and colour schemes are based around England's red and white colours and the couple's local pub, The Bush, has hired in a big screen for the wedding party. Regulars are also invited.
"It's going to be a wedding people will not forget," Ms Law said.
