Two men from Northern Ireland are being questioned by Irish police after cocaine worth about £175,000 was found in a car near Dundalk.
Their car was stopped on a motorway by a Garda patrol on Tuesday night.
Officers became suspicious when they discovered the passenger was carrying a knife.
The two occupants, aged 29 and 33, were taken to Dundalk Garda Station. The cocaine was discovered during a search of the car.
