Man injured after Worcestershire lorry incident


A man who was working on a lorry in Worcestershire has been taken to hospital after the vehicle went over his legs.

The 53-year-old, of Tipton, West Midlands, had "massive leg injuries" after the incident near Kidderminster, the ambulance service said.

It added it was not clear exactly what happened in Whinchat Grove in the Hoobrook area on Tuesday afternoon.

The man was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital.

An ambulance service spokesman said: "The man had suffered very deep lacerations to both sides of his left leg from his knee to his ankle."
