A jury in the trial of two men accused of shooting a 22-year-old over a drug deal in Luton has retired to considered its verdicts.

Richard Long, of Houghton Regis, was shot through the head after being lured to the Lewsey Farm estate on 1 September, Luton Crown Court has heard.

Simeon Johnson, 18, and a 19-year-old man, who can only be referred to as "M", both from Luton, deny murder.

The jury has been sent home and will continue deliberations on Wednesday.

Johnson has pleaded guilty to possessing ammunition, an offence M denies.
