Sussex campers robbed at knifepoint in Surrey woodland


A pair of robbers wearing balaclavas threatened to kill two campers they robbed at knifepoint in Guildford.

The victims, two men in their 20s, were attacked after setting up their tent in woodland off Hazel Avenue on Saturday evening.

One of the intruders held a knife to the throat of one of the men while the other went through their possessions, stealing their MP3 players and cash.

Surrey Police said the victims, from Horsham in West Sussex, were unharmed.
