Prince Charles set for Birkhall rest

Prince Charles will be staying at Birkhall on Royal Deeside to recuperate from a persistent chest infection.

The Duke of Rothesay has been told to rest by doctors, Clarence House has said.

Prince Charles will spend Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week at Birkhall, his private residence on the Queen's Balmoral Estate.

His wife, the Duchess of Rothesay, will be with him.
