Motorists are facing delays after a lorry crash on the M4 near Cardiff.

Two lanes were closed during the morning rush hour on Tuesday after the lorry jack-knifed on the M4 and hit the central reservation.

The incident happened between J32 at Coryton and J33 at the A4232, Cardiff West and services.

Police also closed the eastbound M4 entry slip road at J33 until 0700 BST. The incident caused traffic to queue in both directions.

The lorry was removed from the scene.

South Wales Police reopened one lane just before 0800 BST but said traffic was still queuing for four miles.

Highways officers are working to clear debris and fix the barrier which was damaged in the collision.
