Stereophonics' singer's shock at Stuart Cable's death

Kelly Jones, lead singer of Stereophonics, has expressed his shock at the death of former bandmate and long-time friend Stuart Cable.

"I cannot begin to tell you what we've been through together as friends and bandmates," said Jones. The pair grew up together in Cwmaman near Aberdare and shot to fame after forming the Stereophonics in 1992 with Richard Jones.

Cable left the band in 2003 and had recently been touring with new band Killing For Company.
