Liverpool bus stop attack victim named


An elderly man who died after being attacked at a bus stop in Liverpool has been named.

Thomas Muldoon, 70, from Tuebrook, was allegedly pushed to the ground in a fight in Sheil Road, Kensington, at about 1230 BST on Friday.

He was taken to hospital but he died in hospital on Saturday night as a result of a head injury.

John Baker, 56, of Beaconsfield Road, Toxteth, has been charged with wounding and is due to appear in court later.
