Work to prepare an Isle of Man park for a huge music festival next month is under way, organiser Jamie Irving has said.

The Isle of Man Bay Festival will be held in Noble's Park in Douglas from 18 to 21 June.

A giant tent, which will host the concerts, has arrived on the island on five trailers and 200 workers will be needed to put it up over the next week.

Among those due to perform are JLS, The Feeling, Lemar and Spandau Ballet.

Mr Irving's father, Jonathan, organised the Peel Bay Festival in 2007, which attracted 25,000 people.
