A 15-year-old girl has gone missing from her Dorset home a week before she was due to give birth.

Chelsie O'Donegan was last seen in the Stafford Road area of Bournemouth on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the "vulnerable" teenager was due to give birth next week and would require medical attention.

She is described as white, 5ft 4ins, slim but heavily pregnant, with shoulder-length brown hair.

When she went missing she was wearing a black coat, black jumper, a white T-shirt and black trousers.

Inspector Andy Edwards, of Bournemouth police, said: "We are very concerned for Cheslie's safety and welfare because of her age and the fact that she is almost at the end of her pregnancy.

"My message to anyone who Chelsie may be staying with is please examine your conscience, do the right thing and contact the police in confidence as soon as possible for the sake of Chelsie and her unborn baby."
