Two men accused of wildlife crimes after Moy raid

Two men have been accused of wildlife and firearms offences following a raid by police and other agencies in the Moy area, near Inverness.

The raid included searches of outbuildings amid claims of birds of prey being illegally poisoned.

Police said a 31-year-old and a 19-year-old have been reported to the procurator fiscal.

A total of 45 investigators were involved in Thursday's operation, police said.

Northern Constabulary confirmed the report to prosecutors was in connection with alleged offences under the Wildlife and Countryside Act and alleged firearms offences.
