Lincoln man died from head injuries

A 21-year-old Lincoln man who was found dead near a supermarket on Thursday died from head injuries.

Shaun Rossington of Dunkirk Road was found near the Waitrose supermarket in Searsby Road early on Thursday morning.

Police have appealed for anyone who saw Mr Rossington in the hours before his death to contact them.

Officers said he was of athletic build, 6ft 4ins tall and wore a hooded sweatshirt and dark-blue tracksuit bottoms.

"Shaun is a big lad and would be noticeable by his height and stature alone," Det Supt Mark Hosty said.
