Permanent metal fencing has been put up around a Shropshire cave where a teenager died last year.

Aiden Brookes, 16, from Bridgnorth, was crushed to death by falling stones at Hermitage Caves in April 2009, an inquest has heard.

The move by Apley Estates is to prevent people getting into the caves. The fence replaces a temporary one which had been there since the boy died.

A verdict of accidental death was recorded in December 2009.
