Swiss MPs back UBS secrecy deal


Swiss MPs have backed a deal which would put an end to the long-running tax dispute between UBS bank and the US government.

US tax authorities have been putting pressure on the bank to drop its code of secrecy and hand over details on thousands of American account-holders who have been using Switzerland as a tax haven.
