Second man in Kessock Bridge fall probe

Police investigating a man's death after he fell from a road bridge have revealed a second man was injured after also falling from the same crossing.

The body of a 23-year-old man was found in the sea underneath the Kessock Bridge at Inverness on Wednesday.

Police said a second man was found in the same area after apparently falling at the same time.

The injured man has been receiving treatment at Raigmore Hospital.

Northern Constabulary said: "Inquiries are still ongoing but police can confirm there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this incident."
