Bees killed in suspected arson attack in Kingskerswell

Police have appealed for witnesses after 50,000 bees were killed in a suspected arson attack in Devon.

Up to six youths were seen in the area at the time of the blaze on Tuesday evening in the ruins of the Manor House in Kingskerswell.

The fire had been put out by the time a fire crew from Torquay arrived.

Honey from the bees was to be sold to raise money for the Manor House trust fund. Anyone with information should contact Devon and Cornwall Police.
