Man charged after cannabis found in Ipswich house

A man has been charged following the discovery of more than 600 cannabis plants at a house in Ipswich.

Police executed a warrant at Foxglove Crescent, Purdis Farm, on Wednesday morning.

The plants, which they believe have a potential street value of £900,000, were found in several rooms, along with growing equipment.

A 33-year-old has been charged with producing cannabis and is due to appear before Ipswich magistrates later.
