A rescue mission was launched in the Moray Firth after a fishing boat crashed into rocks.

Buckie lifeboat was mobilised at about 1600 BST on Wednesday amid reports that a creel boat had hit rocks about two miles north east of Buckie harbour.

The boat was towed back into the harbour about an hour later.

An Aberdeen Coastguard spokesman said that one person was taken to hospital with minor leg injuries.
