Oswestry's OsFest organisers 'will be back'

Organisers of OsFest, a music festival held in Oswestry, Shropshire, say they intend to hold another one next year.

The event took place at the town's showground over the Bank Holiday weekend with up to 4,000 people attending.

Carly Jackson, one of the organisers said the weekend had been tiring "but worth it".

"We have had some good feedback and we are just happy to have made it work," she said.

She said a smaller event may be organised close to Christmas with another weekend event planned for next May.

"This has been something new for Oswestry and it is exciting to be part of it," she said.

OsFest was billed as a celebration of national and local music.
