Protest over decaying Northampton hospital homes site

The site of a former hospital in Northampton sold for a new homes development is being left to decay, according to local residents.

Members of the St Crispin Berrywood Residents Association demonstrated outside the Guildhall on Tuesday night.

They said Victorian buildings and a clock tower at the former St Crispin's Hospital in Duston are deteriorating.

They are angry development at the site stopped two years ago and want the borough council to investigate.

Residents claim the site's clock tower is an icon for the town and must be preserved as part of the development.
