Moseley residents evacuated as wartime shell found

Residents in Birmingham were evacuated after the discovery of a wartime artillery shell.
West Midlands police said they were alerted to the discovery of the device at a house in Wake Green Road, Moseley, at about 1025 BST.
People living in the road were told to leave their homes and a 400m (1,300ft) cordon was set up along the street.
It was lifted at 1510 BST after Army bomb disposal experts took the shell away for disposal.
A police spokesman said the shell was believed to have been found by a housholder who had recently moved in.
