Plea to dog owners over sheep attacks in Tandridge

Dog walkers in Tandridge have been warned to keep their pets under control after a spate of attacks on sheep.

Surrey Police said three animals in two weeks had been attacked and killed by dogs in the Tandridge area.

In the latest incident, the body of a ewe was found near Osney Lodge Farm, in South Godstone, with bite marks to its neck.

Surrey Police said it was not illegal for farmers to shoot dogs if they were found to be "worrying livestock".
