Hartlepool stab victim undergoes shoulder surgery


A 37-year-old man has been stabbed in Hartlepool.

It is understood four men may have been involved in the assault. Cleveland officers believe the suspects made-off from the scene in a black BMW car.

The attack happened on Chatham Road in the Dyke House area of the town, at 2130 BST on Monday.

The victim has had surgery on his left shoulder as a result of his injuries. He is recovering at the University Hospital of North Tees.
