Victim attacked by three men at home in Shrewsbury

A man has been injured in a serious assault by three other men at his home in Shropshire.

The victim, aged in his 30s, spent a night in hospital after being attacked by the men at his home in Crewe Street, Shrewsbury, at 1450 BST on Saturday.

Det Con Alex Sullivan, of West Mercia Police, said it was a serious and traumatic incident.

He asked witnesses who may have seen the offenders arriving at or leaving the victim's home to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police or can contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
