Driver charged after jogger's crash death in Aberdeen

A man has been charged in connection with a collision in Aberdeen which left a jogger dead.

Angus MacKenzie, 38, died after being struck on the southbound carriageway of the A956 Wellington Road, close to the unclassified road leading to Cove, on Friday.

Grampian Police told BBC Scotland the 62-year-old driver had been charged in connection with the accident.

The force is continuing to appeal for any witnesses to contact them.
