A church in Northumberland is hoping to fill its pews with football fans during the World Cup.
Hexham's Trinity Methodist Church has put up giant TV screens to show all the England matches.
The minister said the move would allow people to watch the action in a smoke and alcohol-free, family-friendly atmosphere.
To link in with the World Cup, the church will also be offering a series of football-themed sermons.
Rev David Flavell said: "We're using the football theme to get the Gospel message across.
"We hope lots of people will come to listen to our contemporary band and be challenged by the thought-provoking dramas and sermons.
"Football matters, but this is even more important."
